<\/figure>\n\n\n\nAs a traveler, have you ever been told to write down your travel experiences? That’s exactly what happened to me, and it’s what led me to create TravelerTrisha. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hi! My name is Trisha Nadkarni, and on this website, I’ll be sharing everything related to travel – from my personal learnings, stories, and photos, to travel tips, destination guides, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I am pretty much just like most of you – an adult with a corporate job trying to navigate life and find what sparks my curiosity. You might think that I was always a globetrotter, that I knew from a young age I was meant to see the world. But life isn\u2019t that simple. Truthfully, I used to be quite the opposite – shy, scared, and hesitant to try new things. Traveling was the last thing on my mind, I was far from it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020-2021, I was feeling lost and hopeless. My life as I knew it took a 180-degree turn. My college life ended, I was jobless, ended a long-term relationship, and above it all, the lockdown. All of this took a heavy toll on my health, and I was at my lowest. I almost couldn’t cope. All I did was pray and hope to find a way, a light of hope. Months later in August 2021, an opportunity presented itself – the trip to Spiti Valley in Himachal, which proved to be a turning point in my life. The picturesque location helped me rediscover my inner voice and ignited my passion for travel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Since then, I’ve explored Hampi, Nagaland, South Goa, Konkan, and the UAE. Each trip has been a unique adventure, full of new experiences and lessons learned. Throughout my journeys, I learned to appreciate the beauty of different cultures and embrace the unique experiences that come with traveling. Each destination had its own charm and presented me with new challenges, but it also taught me valuable lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In Spiti Valley, I learned the importance of being comfortable with discomfort, and that sometimes the most profound moments come from the simplest things, such as breathing in oxygen or wrapping your hand around a cup of tea in less temperatures. <\/p>\n\n\n\n In Hampi, I was amazed by the history and culture surrounding me and the delicious food I indulged in. <\/p>\n\n\n\n In Nagaland, I was challenged by the language barrier, but the warmth and generosity of the people more than made up for it. The rugged terrain of Nagaland also taught me the importance of perseverance and determination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In South Goa, I was able to find some much-needed rest and relaxation, and the serene beauty of the sun, sand, and sea was a balm to my soul. <\/p>\n\n\n\n In the UAE, I was struck by the stunning modern architecture, the vibrant cultural diversity, and the luxurious lifestyle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Overall, these trips have given me the opportunity to broaden my horizons, embrace new experiences, and grow as a person. They have helped me to see the world with fresh eyes and have given me a newfound appreciation for the beauty and diversity of our planet and people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n After every trip, I felt a newfound sense of lightness and vitality, as if I had shed an invisible weight that I didn’t even know I was carrying. In addition to the plethora of photos, videos, and stories that I had collected along the way, I also discovered a voice that had long been buried deep within me. It was a faint, yet familiar voice – like reconnecting with an old friend after years of absence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I’m not talking about ghosts, and I certainly haven’t lost my mind (well, not entirely), but there was an unmistakable pull that urged me to continue traveling. It was a voice that I couldn’t ignore, and one that would ultimately transform my life in unexpected ways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Whether it was the awe-inspiring beauty of a natural wonder, the warmth, and generosity of a stranger in a foreign land, or the realization that I was capable of more than I ever thought possible, there was always something that stayed with me long after the trip was over. And as I settled back into my routine at home, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of restlessness, a longing to hit the road once more and discover what else was out there waiting for me. <\/p>\n\n\n\n With every trip I took, my passion for travel burned brighter and stronger until it became crystal clear to me that this was my calling. The thrill of exploring new places, meeting new people, and experiencing different cultures was simply my thing. And so, I made it my mission to continue traveling, to see as much of the world as I could, and to never let the fire within me burn out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Despite everything, my love for travel and the lessons it taught me kept me going. I became more confident, more independent, and more curious about the world around me. Each journey was a step forward, a chance to grow, and an opportunity to embrace the unknown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Of course, traveling isn’t always easy or affordable. But I’m committed to making it work, and sharing my experiences with others. I’ve learned a few tricks along the way, such as finding cheap flights, booking budget accommodations, packing light, and being open to spontaneous adventures. I’ll be sharing more of these tips on my website, along with detailed guides to some destinations I have explored so far.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Just because I found my calling doesn\u2019t imply that I got it all figured out (yet). But I\u2019d like to see where I\u2019m headed, or at least give this thing a shot. I don\u2019t intend to let it get away without giving it a try. So, here I am. Typing my thoughts and sharing my experiences on a website for the world to see. And not just to see, but hopefully, connect with too. No, this website isn’t just about me, I hope to connect with you and hear about what inspires YOU to explore the world.
